Songs You Love
Stacey uses her signature Play-Anything System, which is a step-by-step method designed to help adults learn songs they actually want to play while building the skills that allow them to learn music on their own. She uses the best parts of classical training (reading music, hand coordination, technique, rhythm, expression, and musicality) to give students the foundation they need to play the songs and pieces they love.
You can learn contemporary, film music, pop, rock, classical, whatever you love because you understand how music actually works. The music she teaches balances playability with impressive sound, so the music feels achievable but still sounds beautiful on the piano.
So unless your main goal is improvised jazz, her method is built to help you become the kind of pianist who can read, learn, practice, and perform music of your choice with confidence.

Both hands together has been my struggle since I first tried to learn piano in college. I gave up then, I gave up a second time three years ago, and I thought it just wasn't for me. Stacey has a specific system for this that I've never seen anywhere else. Day 5 I played Happy Birthday hands together and this was a big win for me.
Passacaglia was so much fun to play. My husband loves it!

Piano Kickstart
"I’d recommend it to anyone coming back after a long break or starting fresh"
I hadn’t played piano in a long time, so I was basically starting over. Stacey’s program got my hands on the keys from the very first lesson - playing real notes, moving across octaves, and learning as I went. It was empowering.
- Karen

Piano Kickstart
"Highly recommend this.."
I'm not a piano player, and I was playing Happy Birthday within hours.
-Fred

"Even more than the confidence - it made me happy"
It made me feel good to be able to master a piece that previously I would have thought impossible to do.
- Jean

Piano Kickstart
“It only took me three 20-minute sessions to learn Happy Birthday, just 60 minutes total.”
The way the lesson is broken into separate hands and small parts makes it incredibly clear and easy for beginners to follow.
-Mason

Piano Kickstart
“I barely even had to look at the music.”
The way that Stacey teaches helps with memorization...
There’s a lot of pattern recognition that’s really important to memorize pieces!

I'm a recording artist and professional pianist with a Master's degree from the Manhattan School of Music, 20 million Spotify streams, and 15 years teaching adults.
Over the years, I've watched smart, motivated adults fail for the same preventable reasons:
They either don't have a roadmap to follow, they don't get feedback from anyone, or they're not playing music they love. Method books written for seven-year-olds create a lack of motivation which then turns into lack of practice.
This is why I created Piano Skool.
My goal is to give adult learners an exceptional learning experience. My piano lessons are structured, personal, fun, encouraging, and built around how adults actually want to learn.
