Up to 3 minutes of you playing whatever you're working on right now.
Add a quick line about what you'd like help with. Or ask a question.
That's it.
Filmed on your phone, no editing needed.

WhatsApp is a free messaging app — like texting, but it handles video much better. It's the fastest way to get your clips to me.
Or Email
Subject: #COACHBACK - Your Name
First line of your email: #COACHBACK - Your Name
Then list what you will be playing
For example: Amazing Grace A2, Minuet in G A1, C Major scale
Attach your video

You'll see Got your video! Queued for this week's review. No need to reply or confirm anything.
I review weekly (usually Mondays) and send your personal feedback on the same channel - within 24-48 hours.

Use your phone with a tripod — show your hands and a bit of you
One thing you're doing well
One thing to improve
One simple way to fix it this week

One short video — up to 3 minutes — of you playing whatever you're working on right now.
You can let me know in the video if there's something specific you need help with (a tricky spot, timing, hands together) or ask a question.
⚠️Start every message with #COACHBACK – Your Name so I can find your entry⚠️
Then list what you will be playing.
For example: Amazing Grace, Minuet in G A1, C Major scale
Like this:
#COACHBACK – Jane Wilson
Passacaglia A2, Minuet in G, G Major
Keep it to 3 minutes or less — just play once through the section(s) you're working on.
⚠️ If your clip runs longer than 3 minutes, please trim it down before sending. Stacey reviews every video personally, and clips longer than 3 minutes may be too long for her to review.
The point is to keep them short so they’re easy for you to record and easy for her to review.
It depends on your membership, and it's always "use it or lose it" — reviews don't stack or roll forward:
Piano Skool Club: 1 review every 28-day cycle. Send one video per cycle; if you send more, I review the first and you save the rest for next cycle.
Year-One: 48 reviews a year — one for each teaching week. Send a video that week, you get a review that week; skip a week and that one's gone.
CoachBack is a member benefit, so you'll need an active Club or Year-One membership for me to review your videos.
No problem — there’s an email fallback.
Upload the video to a free service — YouTube as “Unlisted,” Google Drive (make sure you grant "viewing access"), Loom, or Dropbox — then email them to:
Subject line:
#Coachback – Your Name
First line of your email:
#COACHBACK – Your Name
Below that: Paste your video link / attach your video
That’s it. Same review timeline, same feedback.
WhatsApp is faster for me to review because videos open right inside the chat, but email + links work too.
Pick whichever is easier for you.
You can send your video anytime during the week — Stacey reviews all CoachBack videos weekly.
The flow:
1. You send your video anytime that week (WhatsApp or email).
2. You get an instant reply confirming it arrived — "Got your video! Queued for this week's review." No need to reply or confirm anything.
3. You're on Stacey's review list for that week.
4. Your feedback video comes back on the same channel you sent it from, usually within about 24–48 hours of the weekly review (usually on Mondays).
The weekly cutoff is Sunday 11:59 pm CT — anything she gets by then is in that week's review session; anything after simply rolls into the next week.
So no rush to catch a certain day, just get it in before Sunday night.
Not even close.
Play it once, start to finish, mistakes and all.
I want to see how you really play right now so I can give you the one fix that helps most — not a polished performance.
